Pet Policy

The City of Mountain Brook has a leash law.  All pets must be on a leash and under the control of their guardian at all times. (Mountain Brook, AL, Code of Ordinances, Sec 6-58: Sec. 6-108.)

Dogs are not allowed in any city park with a playground or on any sports fields. 

Dogs may be walked on a leash at any of our trails or sidewalks. 

DOO YOUR PART

Pets must be curbed at all times and never soil any public area.  Pet owners should immediately and properly clean up any accidents that may occur.  Dog stations are located around parks and along the trails throughout the city for the convenience of visitors.  The disposable bags are bio-degradable and will not harm the environment, but must be disposed of in a garbage can.  Leaving the bags on the ground is littering.
