Classified Positions:

Any position other than a general laborer has to be hired through the Personnel Board of Jefferson County, AL.  Most of our supervisor positions require a CDL license and/or Alabama Pesticide Applicators License.  You may learn more about the requirements or apply for these positions by going to the Personnel Board’s website at www.pbjcal.org and click on the employment tab.  You must apply with the Personnel Board and qualify to be on their current eligibility list before our positions become open.
