About Us:

Our department has 18 employees that do everything needed to maintain the city's green spaces.  That includes grooming sports fields, landscaping parks, and maintaining walking trails.  A majority of our work is completed outdoors and is a great job for people who do not like to be confined to a desk indoors.  A more detailed list of job requirements and duties is listed with the application for a general laborer. 

All of our employees work cohesively as a team to complete our objectives; therefore, we do not have a high turnover rate. Our hours of operation are generally from 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Crews are divided to work 10 hour shifts Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday.  During baseball season, some overtime is required in the evenings and on weekends.
