Unless you receive a notice to the contrary, the following violations may be paid by mail, online, or in-person without appearing in court. YOU MUST TURN IN YOUR COPY OF THE TICKET, WITH THE PLEA OF GUILTY SIGNED ON THE BACK, WITH YOUR PAYMENT. PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE COURT DATE.
PAYMENT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER 2:00PM ON THE DAY OF YOUR COURT DATE-YOU MUST EITHER PAY BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED DATE OR COME TO COURT AT YOUR SCHEDULED DATE AND TIME. Failure to pay or appear will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest and/or your driving privileges being suspended.
Any person charged with *IMPROPER EQUIPMENT (charges that this applies to are denoted by an * below) may have the equipment repaired and inspected by a Mountain Brook Police Officer, signed and dated when inspected and then return the ticket to the Magistrate office within 72 hours and the ticket will be dismissed.
