Lieutenant Davis Baker began his law enforcement career after graduating from the Montgomery Police Academy in 2008. He joined the Mountain Brook Police Department in 2011, where he distinguished himself through a variety of specialized assignments. As an officer, Lieutenant Baker served as a Field Training Officer, Motor Scout, Firearms Instructor, and Tactical Team member, demonstrating a strong commitment to officer development, operational readiness, and public safety.
In 2017, he was promoted to Sergeant and continued to take on increasing leadership responsibilities. In this role, he served as a Patrol Sergeant, managed the Field Training Program, led the Tactical Team, and most recently oversaw the Criminal Investigations Division. Throughout his career, Lieutenant Baker has consistently shown dedication to professional excellence, leadership, and effective policing.
