Chief Cole started his career with Mountain Brook Fire Department in 1990. He has been promoted through the ranks, having held the ranks of Firefighter/Paramedic, Apparatus Operator, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief, and Deputy Chief. He has gained a variety of leadership experience serving as a Company Officer, Safety and Training Officer, Shift Commander and now as Chief of Emergency Operations.
A native of Birmingham, Chief Cole was born and raised in the Huffman area. He attended and graduated from Huffman High School in 1983. In 1984, Stacey enlisted in the United States Navy as a navigation specialist on submarines. His last operational assignment was with Submarine Group Staff, under the command of Admiral William Owens.
Education: Stacey is a graduate of the Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and has a B.S. in Fire Science from Columbia Southern University.
