Lyman started with the City in 1988. His department maintains all Parks and Recreation facilities in the City, and maintains the fields at the Junior High School, four elementary schools, and over one hundred small parcels of land located throughout the City. His department is currently staffed by 16 full-time employees. Lyman has a B.S. in Education from the University of Alabama.
