Carole Epstein, CPS/CAP/CMC, is Executive Assistant / Assistant City Clerk in the Administrative Department of the City where she has been employed since 1986. During this time she has served three City Managers, three Mayors, three Councils, and numerous commissions and committees.
Carole is a Certified Administrative Professional and Certified Municipal Clerk with a Bachelors Degree in Administrative Services from Samford University. She is active in professional organizations and was elected 1999 Administrative Professional of the Year by the Birmingham Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals®. She served as IAAP's 2000-2001 president. She is also a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks® and the Jewish Business Women's Organization.
A Mountain Brook resident for 23 years until she became an empty nester, Carole still feels at home in Mountain Brook. She and her husband, Richard, are the parents of Lesley Anne, the mother of their two grandchildren and lives in Atlanta, and Jason, locally employed by Regions. They worship at Temple Emanu-El Synagogue and are active in the Sisterhood and Brotherhood.
