Tammy Reid began her new role as Administrative Assistant for the City of Mountain Brook in June of 2015.  She provides  support to the Department of Planning, Building & Sustainability as well as to the Planning Commission, the Board of Zoning Adjustment and the Village Design Review Committee.

Tammy comes to the City of Mountain Brook from the City of Center Point where she served as the City Clerk and Treasurer, as well as the Secretary to the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Board of Zoning Adjustment.  She is a Certified Alabama Planning and Zoning Official (CAPZO) and is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks Association (IIMC). Tammy served one term as Secretary and Treasurer for the Jefferson County Mayors Association and has worked in municipal government for ten years.
