NOTICE
Any variance which is granted today expires and becomes null and void six months from today unless construction is begun in less than six months from today on the project for which the variance is granted. If construction will not be started within six months from today, the applicant may come back in five months and ask for a six-months extension, which the Board normally grants.
If a variance is denied, as explained in accordance with Section 19-26-8 of the Code of the City of Mountain Brook, the applicant will not be able to refile for a variance for a period of six months.
Any variance which is granted, regardless of the generality of the language of the motion granting the variance, must be construed in connection with, and limited by, the request of the applicant, including all diagrams, plats, pictures and surveys submitted to this Board before and during the public hearing on the variance application

II. 3966: George Ladd, owner; City of Mountain Brook, agent, request variances from the terms of the Zoning Regulations to erect two temporary structures to be 20 feet and 24 feet, respectively, from the west property line (Highway 280) in lieu of the required 50 feet. - 8 Office Park Circle
The request is for a 6-months extension on a variance approved in August 2009.

III. 3991: Joe & Dotty Carley, owners, request a variance from the terms of the Zoning Regulations to allow a covered porch to be 32 feet from the secondary front (Overton Road) in lieu of the required 40 feet. - 3801 Williamsburg Circle

V. 3996: Mr. and Mrs. John Holcomb, owners, request a variance from the terms of the Zoning Regulations to allow the construction of an attached (2-story) garage to be 25.2 feet from the rear property line (southeast) in lieu of the required 40 feet. - 56 Country Club Boulevard
VI. 3997: Robert Lee & Natalie G. Smith, Jr., owners, request a variance from the terms of the Zoning Regulations to allow a screened porch to be 9 feet from the side property line (west) in lieu of the required 15 feet. - 4236 Kennesaw Drive
